Whose/who’s

Use Practice 1 & 2  to learn the concept before doing the Exercise.
You only get one chance on the exercise, so practice as many times as you need.

Practice 1     Practice 2               Exercises: E9 Exercise     E10 Exercise     H11 Exercise
Explanation:
  • "Who's" has two meanings:
    - "Who is" (like "Who's going to wash the dishes today?")
    - "Who has" (like "Who's been eating from my bowl?")
  • "Whose" shows that something belongs to someone, just like his, hers, yours, etc.  See how they all end with the s sound but DON'T have an apostrophe?

So if you're not sure, just say "who is" or "who has" and see if the sentence makes sense.
