Getting Started
Slides -- The numbers below match the slide numbers on the template.
Interest/creativity = 2 points
- You must use the template below, not PowerPoint, Prezi, or Keynote. Do not create your own blank file or copy this into a PowerPoint.
- Feel free to add pictures, videos, animations, etc., to make it more interesting.
- Also, feel free to change the theme and fonts, but make sure everything is readable.
Getting Started
- Click here choose a short story to read.
- Click here to open the template.
- Click the blue "Make a copy" button.
- Change the name of the file to __[Your Name]__'s Short Story Presentation.
- Click the "Share" button (in the top-right corner) and share it with me. This isn't on Google Classroom because I wasn't expecting to be gone.

- Put the title, the author's name, and your name. [3 points]
- Use bullet points to summarize the story. Each bullet should be no more than seven words. It should all fit on this one slide, but you can add one more if you need to. [10 points]
- What was the main problem they had to overcome? [2 points]
- How did they overcome the problem(s)? [2 points]
- What’s the book’s main message and/or what do you think the author was trying to say? [2 points]
- What was your favorite part and/or favorite character? [2 points]
- Would you recommend this book? Write a short review. [2 points]
