You'll give a presentation to the class with your computer.

Requirements:
  • Read a book with at least 200 pages and a lexile of at least 1000.
  • Use this template for fiction or this template for non-fiction to create a slideshow.
  • You must present it to the class (talking, not reading).

Getting started:
  1. Open the appropriate template above.
  2. Click on "File" and then "Make a Copy."  You can't do anything else until you do this.
  3. Change the name of the file to __[Your Name]__'s Book Presentation.
  4. Click the orange "Share" button and share it with me.
You'll make a 30-second video about your book and show it to the class.

It can be a real video or photographs set to music, but it must include you & your friends, not things you find online.

Here are some ideas:
  • a trailer for the book (like a movie trailer)
  • your favorite scene
  • an exciting/funny/touching scene
  • a "what happens next" scene
  • an alternate ending

You might want to work in small groups so you can help each other, but everyone needs their own separate video.
