- advice = a suggestion
- advise = to give a suggestion
- breath = (noun) air going in and out of your lungs
- breathe = (verb) to take air into your lungs and out again
- envelop = (verb) to surround completely
- envelope = like you put a letter in
- lead = (1) to be in charge; (2) a type of metal
- led = past tense of "lead"
- pray = to ask for help or offer praise
- prey = to hunt for food
- irresolvable = impossible to solve
- predatory = inclined to prey on others
- adversary = enemy or opponent
- willful = stubborn
- remarkable = extraordinary
- proposition = a suggested plan
- capacity = ability, potential
- onslaught = a violent attack
- deliberate = on purpose (after thinking about it)
- sentient = able to feel things

- beside = next to
- besides = in addition to
- bored = not having fun
- board = a piece of wood or a group of people
- brake = make something stop
- break = damage something
- cereal = what many people eat for breakfast
- serial = coming one after another
- eager = excited about what's going to happen
- anxious = worried about what's going to happen
- anticipate = expect something to happen
- infatuated = very strong but short-lived "love"
- enthralled = very interested in something
- devoted = very loving or loyal
- elation = excited happiness
- impulse = a sudden and strong desire
- elaborate = very fancy
- forbidden = not allowed
- prodigy = a very talented child
- accompany = go with someone

- access = the right/ability to use something or go somewhere
- excess = more than enough
- affect = to make a difference [verb]
- effect = result/change [noun]
- assure = promise something will happen
- ensure = make sure something happens
- insure = repay you if something bad happens
- apparently = the way it looks on the surface
- dissecting = cutting apart
- distinguished = professional; deserving respect
- civilians = people who aren't soldiers or law enforcement officers
- colleagues = people you work with
- inevitably = in a way that can't be stopped
- initiate = start
- modification = change (usually small)
- phenomenon = event; activity
- surfacing = coming to the top
- theoretically = the way it's supposed to work
